(quickies) | Ivan Scannell

Facebook fans will certainly recognize Ivan Scannell. From the scads of comments, likes, and clicks, this Sydneysider has quickly become one of the best tracking models on the Official 2(x)ist Facebook Page. But posing for top photographers is still rather new for Ivan, who won the Mr. Supermodel Australia 2006 contest but declined international offers to instead focus on his studies. Today, he holds a B.A. in Commerce Accounting and Corporate Law from Macquarie University and spearheads two successful companies: Sydney Psychology & Wellbeing and International Opulence, a niche financial consulting firm. Still, the surf and sport fan couldn’t run from his crown forever, so three months ago he started taking pictures with some of Oz’s top photogs, landing him DNA’s “Mate of the Month” and an upcoming cover of Exercise for Men. Talk about brains and brawn! 2(x)istence caught up with the down-to-earth Mr. Scannell during his swing through New York, and poked into his Empire State of Mind:

What to do Après-Surf?: You’ll often catch me with friends in a quaint wine bar or restaurant overlooking the water (Sydney Harbor or the beach)
And on the menu at said wine bar: My favorite drink currently would have to be a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and, having lived in New Zealand for 7 years, [there's] nothing better than a bottle of Oyster Bay
Then the next morning, it’s back to the gym?: I love sport and being active. I have been very competitive in soccer, rugby, tennis … however, I am now focused on athletics — sprints and hurdles. Having recently recovered from a hamstring injury I will look to commence my training with the objective of representing my country
And what’s on a future statesman’s iPod whilst training: I have such a mixture haha. Timbaland, Muse, David Guetta, Tiesto, Nickelback, I even have Andrea Bocceli. Told you … Mixture. LOL
Now on to personal style. Describe: I am such a mixture. Catch me at the beach and it’s relaxed (jeans and a singlet). [ED. NOTE: "Singlet" is "tank" to Yanks.] Catch me at night and it’s sharp and sophisticated. I like a range of brands from high-end (Hugo Boss, D&G) to grungier brands like Ksubi. 2(x)ist would have to be my favorite brand of underwear!

Meet Kevin Wiltz. This Indianapolis-bred gentleman is making his mark in New York as a triple threat: ballet dancer, party promoter, and model. Signed with the ADAM NYC agency, Kevin recently worked with 2(x)ist in Las Vegas. 2(x)istence caught up with Mr. Wiltz for a lightning round of questions:
