(fitness) | Ivan Scannell of
IvanScannellFitness.com in ALL STAR

Where in the world is Ivan Scannell? For the Australian Scannell, to say everywhere would be an understatement: the athlete-trainer-model could easily Foursquare in any number of locales: Sydney, Cape Town, Milan, Munich … But now, “everywhere” is the definitive answer as Ivan calls the World Wide Web home with his new website IvanScannellFitness.com.
Launched this week, Ivan Scannell Fitness is a comprehensive wellness-centered resource where the original Sydneysider says, “secrets and the secrets of colleagues will be revealed.”

Expect exercise programs, videos, tutorials, and nutrition and supplement advice, as well as a healthy smattering of personal insight as the multi-hyphenate relays his experiences as a national track sprinter, full-time model, and fitness professional.
Later, Mr. Scannell will launch an exclusive members-only component to the site, ISFit Trainers, which he says is the chance to train personally with himself and his team as they travel the globe.
Always one to push himself toward reaching higher physical and mental goals—after all, he is currently training for the 2012 Olympic Games—Ivan promises web visitors the same level of commitment: “It will be very interactive and take your training experience to the next level! Let’s embark on your journey towards ‘life transformation’ together.”
Consider us ready to go.

Meet the very active Alexander Beal. When he’s not modeling (like in this Simon Le-shot pic of the 6’2″ Beal in ALL STAR) or helping clients meet their physical goals, this Sydneysider trainer dedicates himself to the pending launch of his namesake fitness and nutrition website at alexanderbeal.com. In between the gym and the photo studio, 2(x)istence managed to sneak in a few questions with the 6’2″ Australian.
2(x)istence: Sticking to a fitness regimen can be a challenge. Any tips?
Alexander Beal: One tried-and-true way to stick to a fitness routine would be a training partner. This is a great way of motivation to get you off your bum and it is also an awesome way to push your potential and reach your goals … No one can egg you on as much as a friend!
Q: I’m in the gym all the time, but feel I’m stuck in a rut, so why bother. Advice?
AB: It can also be hard to stick to a routine if you’re following the same one day in and day out—that’s why it’s good to mix up what you do. This not only keeps the mind active but it will also trick your body and really push it to reach its maximum potential.
Q: Which activities do you favor in order to feel confident in your 2(x)ists?
AB: My current favourite way to stay active is to do weights at the gym. I like to dance, as it keeps my cardio levels and core strength up, and I like to swim as it’s a relaxing form of exercise.
