In his original acceptance speech at the show, held over the weekend at Hollywood’s Avalon, the Pennsylvania-born Manganiello cheekily showed gratitude to his personal trainer, his “manscaper Kristof,” the wardrobe department of True Blood (“even though they don’t give him much of a wardrobe on that show”), and 2(x)ist for “sending so much underwear over the past year.”

On Saturday, 2(x)ist played host to the Los Angeles Premiere of The Weinstein Company’s buzzworthy film Blue Valentine. Oscar-nominated star Ryan Gosling was in attendance, taking time to chat with fans as he made his way down the carpet at the iconic Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
The Blue Valentine family was also on hand for the screening, including co-star Mike Vogel, director/co-writer Derek Gianfrance, and writers Cami Delavigne and Joey Curtis.
Inside Grauman’s Chinese Theater, director Derek Gianfrance introduced the film (which also co-stars Academy Award Nominee Michelle Williams) and fielded a few questions. Then, the party moved on to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where other friends of the film showed their support, including Garry Shandling, Jake Pavelka, Ben McKenzie, and Zach Braff.

Squarely on Team Coco, 2(x)ist finds its way onto the Ginger Knight of Late Night, Conan O’Brien. In gentlemanly fashion, Mr. O’Brien gracefully (and hilariously) navigated his way through a messy debacle to emerge with a legion of loyal fans, plus a new show on TBS. In the meantime, the funnyman’s taken to YouTube, showcasing his trademark humor that we’ve been missing oh so much. And with the clip above, we laughed ourselves to the point of tears … from joy. Wonder why? Wait for 0:41.

After the exclusive screening of Ryan Reynolds‘ new film Buried at New York’s Tribeca Grand Hotel, 2(x)ist & The Cinema Society‘s hosting duties continued with an afterparty held right up the street at the Soho Grand. Guests included the Buried star himself (ahem, Mr. Reynolds) alongside fellow boldfaces like Courtney Love, Olivia Palermo, Carol Alt, Adrien Grenier, and our very own SLIQ man himself, André Ziehe.
Inside, the revelers were treated to a non-stop flow of SKYY Vodka specialty cocktails whilst DJ Marlon B helmed the turntables. Plus, as HollywoodLife reported, video flatscreens throughout the space caught many a curious glance, as guests were “entertained by a series of rather racy series of 2(x)ist underwear ads.” (Hmmm, we wonder exactly what they were “Watching.”)
